One of the most integral parts of filmmaking happens after the camera stops rolling. In fact, the way that you edit your footage together is what tells—and. I like the concept of lean-forward moment which is well explained at around 27min. I ll try to write with my words what I understood from what.

By the end of the book these concepts are made clear through repeated visits to the loglines and scene analysis of each film to better illustrate how those moments of change are achieved in each of the film crafts.

There are also little tidbits of information about the various aspects of filmmaking as they pertain to achieving the Lean Forward Moment that veteran filmmakers and beginners alike can use to great affect. I like that there is no sign of any software, hardware or brand names in sight.

I like the concept of lean-forward moment which is well explained at around min. Something very important is that you have to think everything you use in the film regarding to the context where it fits in which means "what is the role at this moment? But their concept of lean-forward moment goes beyond that point because it forces you not only to do that, but it also helps you to coordinate pace and balance - and that makes THE difference!
